Materialise CO-AM
Function
Materialise’s CO-AM platform is a leading software for order entry and shipping of 3D printed parts. Customers can use it to manage their additive manufacturing workflow, whether internal, external or hybrid. The platform offers various module add-ons to integrate functions into the parts ordering process. Especially for safety-critical components, it is important to track changes during production, which is made possible by additive marking.
Our solution
CO-AM-Plattform
Our Additive Marking Serializer is integrated into the backend of the CO-AM platform via an API. If a user wants “traceability” as a value-added element of their product, they can select our module and integrate unique identifiers into their part or batch. A key benefit for serial production is that unique identifiers can be quickly serialized for an entire build order, saving time in both build preparation and post-processing of part identification.
Our Additive Marking Serializer is integrated into the CO-AM platform via an iFrame, allowing users to integrate unique identifiers directly into their part or batch within the platform. iFrames are effective and convenient ways to improve the interoperability of two or more software platforms, so the connection between CO-AM and Additive Marking Suite provides an excellent framework for integration with other MES or ERP systems.
