Our Story

Finished projects

CureLab

Cure Lab, a specialized contract manufacturer of 3D printed medical prostheses and orthoses, was looking for a solution to process customer orders more efficiently and error-free.

Macu4

Macu4 produces customized, 3D printed forearm prostheses for outdoor activities and ensures quality through MDR compliance and GTIN. They wanted to streamline the production process by configuring customer orders and automatically generating reports and packing lists.

Solize

SOLIZE, a contract manufacturer for the automotive industry, recognized the importance of end-to-end traceability to improve their additive manufacturing process. They were looking for a solution to store digital part files and monitor manufacturing stages to increase efficiency and transparency.

TÜV NORD

TÜV NORD offers accredited testing solutions for numerous additive manufacturing processes and is a valuable partner for additive marking. Together we have built the iAM-APPROVED platform, a digital laboratory where customers can order testing and testing services according to DIN EN ISO/ASTM 52920. The aim of the platform is to increase customer confidence in additive manufacturing processes by making testing easily accessible.

Böllhof GmbH

The Böllhoff Group, an industry leader in connection and assembly solutions, develops high-quality devices for various industries such as aerospace, energy and automotive. Additive Marking advised on the development of traceability for the production of spindles for helicoils, which could not be marked traditionally due to their small and curved surfaces. A project was undertaken to integrate direct marking to improve traceability.

Materialise CO-AM

The Materialize CO-AM platform is a leading software for managing 3D printing jobs. It supports various production strategies and offers many module add-ons. Important changes to part files are tracked using additive marking, especially for safety-critical components.

Replique

Replique – a subsidiary of BASF and an end-to-end digital inventory platform for 3D printing – supports the industry with on-demand production of certified components. Replique was looking for a solution to provide its customers with traceable parts with authenticating part markings and digital process documentation.

Partbox

PartBox offers an on-demand parts streaming service with a digital warehouse of qualified components for the packaging industry. Customers can stream parts to their PartBox printer on-demand, eliminating the need for physical warehousing. The customizable components offer more flexibility than traditional manufacturing methods. In order to securely stream custom parts worldwide, a solution to easily identify the item number of each printed part was required.

Polyline

The POLYLINE project brings together 15 industry and research partners from Germany to develop a next-generation digitized manufacturing line for the production of plastic components for the automotive industry. The aim is to complement traditional manufacturing techniques with additive manufacturing in highly efficient production systems. Funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) with 10.7 million euros, the project runs for three years and officially started on March 4, 2020, with an inaugural meeting at EOS in Krailling near Munich.

Bikini

Lightweight construction is a key technology for mitigating climate change and enhancing economic performance by reducing CO2 emissions through weight reduction in mobility. It is also essential to consider CO2-intensive production and recycling processes to create sustainable solutions for the entire product lifecycle. The BIKINI consortium pursues this holistic approach through biologically inspired design algorithms and AI-based support services in product development to enable sustainable solutions that are also developed more quickly.
