It was fantastic presenting alongside our partners Alstom and Replique and showcasing how our direct part markings enable effective spare parts management in the #railindustry. The direct printing of GS1 codes on components was also an interesting talking point for topics including quality management, part authentication and instant re-ordering.
Increased industry engagement with Digital Product Passports was also noticeable, aligning well with the release of the new EU battery passport guidlines at the start of the fair. It was also great to see EDAG Group, Siemens and EOS discussing use cases for the application of additive manufacturing in smart battery production: it will be interesting to see how this technology evolves in the future.
