Part Identification – How To Best Scan Your Parts

Part Identification

Flexible And Precise Scanning

With our Additive Marking DPM Scan Pro (available as mobile iOS and Android app, or Windows-based platform connected with a stationed industrial camera), we enable every user to decode machine-readable Direct Part Markings and initiate processing steps. With open interfaces, the DPM Scan Pro can be connected to our DLM TrustCenter or other third party system via Rest API, MQTT or custom URL. Once the machine-readable surface marking is scanned, linkage to the chosen platform is enabled, and parts can be easily managed by relevant stakeholders.

Identification Throughout The Product Life Cycle

With integrated, machine-readable codes, information about each processing step in the part's production can be accessed as needed. Not only does this ensure complete workflow transparency, but it also reduces the error rate of mis-identifying units during production and shipping. Maintaining readability even in low-contrast environments, across a variety of materials and against many different colours, our technology offers a robust solution for product identification - across its entire lifecycle.

With excellent readability in low-contrast environments, our scanning app is the perfect on-site tool for engineers and service technicians to quickly view and manage data for components. Our scanning app can link to Quality Assurance certificates, metadata, batch number or other custom input. These features make it the perfect portable solution for spare part management, digital inventory connectivity, and Quality Assurance.

App-Based: iOS, Android and Windows

Our scanning solution is designed to fit into various stages of the production workflow; choose our mobile-based app for a portable scanning solution or our desktop app with connectivity to common cameras for industrial scanning.

Robust, AI-Driven Scanning

With excellent readability in low-lit environments and in low-contrast conditions - as is characteristic of direct-part-markings - our scanning solution provides a robust scanning solution suitable for numerous applications. The scanner has three modes. Single scanning - scan each item individually and perform multiple functions via the digital interface. Continuous scanning - scan items one after another for the rapid logging of component IDs Batch scanning - scan multiple items simultaneously to reduce processing time

Open Interfaces

The DPM Scan Pro can be connected to our DLM TrustCenter or any third party system via Rest API, MQTT or custom URL. Once the machine-readable surface marking is scanned, linkage to the chosen platform is enabled, and individual parts can be managed digitally by relevant stakeholders.
